On Meta, targeting has largely been handed over to the algorithm. Detailed interest breakdowns have given way to broad targeting and Advantage+ campaigns. That leaves one big variable you still control: the creative.

The second decisive factor is signal quality. After iOS tracking restrictions and browser cookie blocking, setups that rely on the pixel alone miss a significant share of conversions. Optimising Meta without the Conversions API in place means optimising on incomplete data.

Campaign Types

Which campaigns do we run on Meta Ads?

1

Advantage+ Shopping

Catalogue-based and largely automated. Its success depends directly on feed quality and creative variety.

2

Conversion Campaigns

Targeting purchases, forms or sign-ups. Fed by a dual pixel + CAPI setup.

3

Catalogue Remarketing

Dynamic ads for products viewed and left in the basket.

4

Demand Generation

Upper funnel through video and carousel formats; reaching people who do not know the brand.

5

Lead Ads

An in-platform form. It keeps friction on mobile to a minimum by not sending the user to the site.

Scope of Work

What exactly do we do in your account?

Simplifying the account structure

A large number of small ad sets never completes the learning phase. We consolidate ad sets so each one reaches its weekly conversion threshold.

A creative testing programme

Each creative is produced to isolate a single variable: hook, format, message angle. That makes it measurable which element actually worked.

Catalogue and feed hygiene

Product titles, images and stock status are synchronised regularly. Budget spent on an out-of-stock product is a straight loss.

Audience architecture

Customer lists, site engagement and video viewers are built as separate segments; lookalikes are derived from them.

Tracking creative fatigue

Frequency and any drop in click-through rate are monitored; a winning creative typically lasts three to six weeks and the production schedule is planned around that.

Measurement

Conversions API: recovering the conversions you are losing

In setups that use only the browser pixel, a share of conversions is never seen at all — because of ad blockers, iOS tracking restrictions and cookie lifetimes. The Conversions API (CAPI) closes that gap by sending the same event from the server as well, which also improves how the algorithm learns.

  1. 01

    Server-side event delivery

Purchase, form and add-to-cart events are sent to Meta from the server, removing the dependence on the browser.

  2. 02

    Event deduplication

When the pixel and CAPI send the same event, a shared event_id prevents double counting. Skip this step and conversions appear twice, which breaks the entire optimisation.

  3. 03

    Improving match quality

Hashed email, phone and city raise the event match score. The higher the score, the more accurate the attribution.

  4. 04

    Offline conversion upload

Sales made in store or over the phone are sent back to Meta by matching on lead ID, making it visible which ad led to a real sale.

Domain verification

Aggregated event configuration is not possible until the domain is verified in Meta Business Manager.

Aggregated Event Measurement

Eight prioritised events are defined for iOS users; the order is set by business goal.

Attribution window awareness

Meta uses 7-day click / 1-day view by default. Comparing against GA4 without accounting for that difference produces the wrong conclusion.

Raporlama

Which metrics do we look at?

Different indicators matter on different channels. Judging every channel by the same metric leads to the wrong decisions.

ROAS
The main indicator for catalogue and conversion campaigns.
Event match quality
Shows CAPI quality; we target 7 and above.
Hook rate
The share of people who watch the first three seconds of the video — it measures the strength of the creative.
Frequency
How many times the same person sees the ad; when it climbs, the creative needs refreshing.

Tools

Work out what your budget is worth

Four calculators: return estimate, lead funnel, budget split and break-even point.

If you do not know, 2–4 is typical.

Not every enquiry turns into a sale. In B2B it is 15–30%; in e-commerce it is close to 100%.

Cost per customer
Request a Free Account Audit

The total monthly search count for your target keywords.

  1. 1 Visitors reaching the site
  2. 2 Form / talep
  3. 3 Customers won

Each step of the funnel is a percentage of the one before it. Real rates vary considerably by sector and by the strength of the offer.

The split below is a typical starting point for an account with conversion history. As data builds up, budget shifts according to marginal return — staying on fixed percentages costs you money.

Gross profit per unit

What is left from the sale.

Maximum cost per conversion

Above this you make a loss.

Maximum cost per click

Your bid ceiling.

Minimum required ROAS

Below this value you make a loss.

Note: These tools produce estimates, not commitments. If the conversion rate and cost per click you enter do not come from your own account, the result only gives you a sense of scale. We work out the real figures with data in the free account audit.

Frequently asked about Meta Ads

If we have the pixel, do we need CAPI?

Yes. The pixel runs in the browser and can be blocked. CAPI sends from the server; used together, the loss falls markedly.

How many creatives do we need?

It depends on testing volume; typically 12–30 variations a month. Scaling on Meta with a small number of creatives is not possible.

Is Advantage+ suitable for every business?

It needs enough conversion volume and a healthy catalogue. On lower-volume accounts a classic campaign structure gives a more controlled result.

Does CAPI create a data protection problem?

No. Personal data is hashed before it is sent, and consent status is included in the signal.
