On Instagram people scroll fast and skip past anything that looks like an ad instantly. What determines performance here is not targeting but the first second. Seeing a multiple-fold difference between two creatives on the same budget is entirely normal.

The second difference is format. Reels and Stories are vertical, sound-on and consumed quickly; cropping the edges off a horizontal image and dropping it in here almost always performs poorly. We produce creative separately for each placement.

Campaign Types

Which campaigns do we run on Instagram Ads?

1

Reels Ads

Vertical, sound-on, short video. Instagram's most consumed format and usually the placement with the lowest cost of reach.

When: For demand generation and reaching new audiences.

2

Story Ads

Full-screen and vertical. Drives straight to action with a swipe up. The time limit forces the message to be simplified.

When: For campaigns, discounts and urgency messages.

3

Feed Ads

Square or vertical image/video. Suited to brand storytelling and product detail.

When: For product introductions and brand positioning.

4

Explore Placement

Where users are actively looking for new content. Strong for demand generation.

When: For new product and brand introductions.

5

Shopping Ads

Drives straight to purchase with product tags. Requires a catalogue connection.

When: For e-commerce, once the catalogue is ready.

6

Remarketing

Profile visitors, video viewers and cart abandoners in separate segments.

When: Once traffic has built up.

Scope of Work

What exactly do we do in your account?

Format-specific creative production

9:16 vertical for Reels and 4:5 for feed are produced separately. Distributing a single image across every placement is the most common and most expensive mistake.

Hook testing

Different openings of the same video are tested. Most of the performance difference comes from the first one or two seconds.

Sound and subtitles

A significant share of users watch with the sound off. Video without subtitles loses that audience entirely.

Catalogue and shopping tags

The product feed is synchronised with Instagram Shopping; stock and price accuracy are monitored.

Organic and paid consistency

People who see the ad visit the profile. If there is a visual disconnect between the profile and the ad, conversion drops.

Measurement

Creative-level measurement and the Conversions API

On Instagram, reading reports at campaign level is misleading; decisions are made at creative level. Increasing budget without seeing which video lost viewers at which second means publishing a bad creative more expensively.

  1. 01

    Pixel + Conversions API

Browser and server side are set up together; a shared event_id prevents double counting.

  2. 02

    Creative-level reporting

Hook rate, watch time and click-through rate are tracked separately for each creative.

  3. 03

    Placement breakdown

Reels, Stories and feed performance are read separately; budget shifts to the efficient placement.

  4. 04

    Value-based optimisation

Conversion value is sent as gross profit rather than revenue, so the algorithm learns which products are profitable.

Match score

Event match quality is raised with hashed email and phone.

Creative fatigue

When frequency climbs and click-through rate falls, the creative is changed — usually every three to six weeks.

Raporlama

Which metrics do we look at?

Different indicators matter on different channels. Judging every channel by the same metric leads to the wrong decisions.

Hook rate
The share who watch the first three seconds — the most critical creative indicator.
ROAS
The main measure for catalogue and conversion campaigns.
CPM
Cost of reach; Reels is usually the cheapest placement.
Profile visits
Shows whether the ad created any curiosity about the brand.

Tools

Work out what your budget is worth

Four calculators: return estimate, lead funnel, budget split and break-even point.

If you do not know, 2–4 is typical.

Not every enquiry turns into a sale. In B2B it is 15–30%; in e-commerce it is close to 100%.

Request a Free Account Audit

The total monthly search count for your target keywords.

  1. 1 Visitors reaching the site
  2. 2 Form / talep
  3. 3 Customers won

Each step of the funnel is a percentage of the one before it. Real rates vary considerably by sector and by the strength of the offer.

The split below is a typical starting point for an account with conversion history. As data builds up, budget shifts according to marginal return — staying on fixed percentages costs you money.

Gross profit per unit

What is left from the sale.

Maximum cost per conversion

Above this you make a loss.

Maximum cost per click

Your bid ceiling.

Minimum required ROAS

Below this value you make a loss.

Note: These tools produce estimates, not commitments. If the conversion rate and cost per click you enter do not come from your own account, the result only gives you a sense of scale. We work out the real figures with data in the free account audit.

Frequently asked about Instagram Ads

Do you produce the creative?

Yes. We produce vertical video for Reels and Stories, and image and copy variations for the feed. If you have a product archive, we can derive from that too.

We have few followers — will advertising work?

Ad reach is independent of follower count. That said, a profile that inspires confidence when visited has a positive effect on conversion.

Instagram or Facebook?

If your product is visual and your audience skews young, Instagram; for products that need explaining and sell to middle-aged and older audiences, Facebook comes out ahead. We tell you with data in the audit.

What is needed for shopping tags?

An approved business account and a synchronised product catalogue. We help with the setup.
